Campbellsville Youth Basketball Tournament 

Tournament Rules

School teams only. 2nd grade teams play only man to man defense. Teams are only allowed to pick up at half court. 9’ goal height.

3rd, 4th ,  5th grade teams are allowed to play any defense and play full court press.

 

*Uniforms must have numbers on both sides of the jersey.

We will use a 28.5 basketball. (Girls Ball) Two referees per game. Games will not be delayed for other players to join the team. Players are allowed to play up but not down a grade. There will be a $75 entree fee per team. Each team will be guaranteed 2 games. All games will be 18 minute halves.

 

Clock doesn’t stop until 1 minute in the first half. 2nd half the clock will stop the last 2 minutes. The clock will stop for timeouts. Each team will be given one 30 second and one full timeout per half. Teams do not have to use school colors or school mascot. Overtime will be 2 minutes.

All players and two coaches per team will be allowed free admission.

Everyone will shoot from the regular foul line except 2nd grade. They will shoot 2’ from the regular foul line. If a kid jumps the line after shooting the shot that will be allowed. Player 

must start from behind the line.

 

*Teams don’t ask for special playing times.

The last date to enter your team will be Wednesday, the week of the games.
